What you get
The platform couriers
have been waiting for.
OBCquote is the first open marketplace where couriers set their own prices and shippers compete for your availability — not the other way around.
Live job board
Browse real jobs posted by verified shippers. Filter by origin, destination, cargo type, weight, and pickup date. New jobs added daily.
Set your own price
You decide what you're worth. Submit a bid at whatever price works for your route and schedule. No agency telling you what you'll be paid.
Guaranteed payment
Funds are held in escrow before you travel. Once delivery is confirmed, payment is released directly to you. No chasing invoices.
Verified profile
Build a visible track record. Your delivery history, ratings, and association memberships (BACA, CIBAS, ACES) are displayed to all shippers.
Flexible schedule
Bid only on jobs that fit your travel plans. OBCquote works around your existing itinerary — not the other way around.
Works for agencies too
OBC companies can create agency profiles, manage a roster of couriers under one account, and bid collectively on jobs that suit your team.
Your earnings
More money.
Same route.
On average, OBCquote couriers earn significantly more per assignment than through traditional agencies — because the agency cut goes to you instead.

Frequently asked
Questions from couriers.
Do I need to be a professional courier to join?
We welcome both professional OBC couriers and experienced independent travellers. To bid on jobs, you'll need to complete identity verification. Association memberships aren't required but will significantly strengthen your profile and win rate.
How does payment work?
When a shipper accepts your bid, the amount is held in escrow. Once you upload proof of delivery and the shipper confirms receipt (or 24 hours pass without a dispute), the funds are released directly to your registered bank account or payment method via Stripe.
What commission does OBCquote take?
10% of your accepted bid amount at launch. For high-volume couriers (8+ completed deliveries per month), this drops to 8%. There are no listing fees, subscription fees, or any other charges.
Can I use OBCquote as part of an OBC agency?
Yes. OBC companies can create agency profiles and add multiple couriers to their roster. The agency admin manages bids and assignments, and payments can be routed to the agency account. Individual courier profiles still show their personal ratings and history.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong with the cargo?
The shipper retains responsibility for the cargo's value and customs compliance. You as the courier are responsible for the safe transport of the item as agreed. We strongly recommend having appropriate courier liability insurance. OBCquote is a facilitator and holds no cargo liability.
How do I handle dangerous goods (DG) shipments?
DG shipments are flagged on the job board and require couriers with appropriate IATA DG certifications. During profile setup, you can indicate your DG handling qualifications, which unlock those job types for bidding.
